Letter From the Publisher

There are enough pretty girls out there to fill a dozen beauty contests a day. Yet only the members of a select group of 20 contestants a year have a chance to vie for the Miss Universe Japan crown. If you exude an aura of self-confidence and are intelligently articulate, why don't you give it a shot and call the Japan Office right now? (See ad on inside back cover.) That's the short route.

If you don't feel like gate-crashing the contest, you could go window shopping in Omotesando and wait to be discovered. But that's a long shot.

You can also just fill out the form below and wait to be called by our photographer, a certified distortionist whose specialty is to give his girls larger-than-life heads. Judging from the number of cards we receive, many Tokyoites find that cool. Some call it art, others see it as the work of a warped mind. Indeed, there's a very fine line between art and insanity.
