This venerable family publication has undergone some mind-boggling transitions over the years. For a while it was actually a Spanish bonsai trade-magazine, but the Ministry of Fisheries and Forestry didn't want any of it.
Now for the latest metamorphosis . . . as can be confirmed even from a distance when you are dazzled by the stunning cover and feel compelled to pick up your very own copy: Tokyo YY is to become an international women's magazine!
A pool of international women has already been assembled and all systems are go! As international women's issues become more pressing and significant this magazine is set to become the voice of international women living in Japan - and ABROAD. If you are an international woman, please send in your contribution in cash - although postage stamps will suffice, in a pinch.
Wow! I guess this means I'm outa' here. I am currently looking for sponsors to help start up my own magazine which will be designed for international men. Keep your eyes open for BEING A HULK.
