Church Lounge
After pausing for a couple of months the 'Church' team re-launched their popular Church Lounge event at Bul-let's in Azabu, with a new concept focusing more on live music and other artists. The first highlight showcases the hand-made drum & bass approach of Daisuke Sato (the drum) and Masa Yamauchi (the bass), a.k.a. Posh. As an occasional third band member functions Tokyo-based producer Scott Meister, who is planning to release an album with Posh later this year. But just like other Japanese minimal duos such as Thermo or Kirihito, Posh are best enjoyed live, so let's hope they don't disappear into some recording studio too long, but keep peppering up the Tokyo live music scene with gigs like tonight's. Don't miss! Ambient Bar Bul-let's (3401-4844) |
